حضرت خواجہ قطب الدین بختیار کاکی

رحمتہ اللہ علیہ

جب حضرت خواجہ قطب الدین بختیار کاکی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کی وفات ہوئی تو کہرام مچ گیا۔ جنازہ تیار ہوا، ایک بڑے میدان میں لایا گیا۔ بے پناہ لوگ نماز جنازہ پڑھنے کے لیے آئے ہوئے تھے۔ انسانوں کا ایک سمندر تھا جو حد نگاہ تک نظر آتا تھا۔ جب جنازہ پڑھنے کا وقت آیا، ایک آدمی آگے بڑھا اور کہنے لگا کہ میں خواجہ قطب الدین بختیار کاکی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کا وکیل ہوں۔ حضرت نے ایک وصیت کی تھی۔ میں اس مجمعے تک وہ وصیت پہنچانا چاہتا ہوں۔ مجمعے پر سناٹا چھاگیا۔ وکیل نے پکار کر کہا۔ حضرت خواجہ قطب الدین بختیار کاکی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ نے یہ وصیت کی کہ میرا جنازہ وہ شخص پڑھائے جس کے اندر چار خوبیاں ہوں۔

زندگی میںاس کی تکبیر اولیٰ کبھی قضا نہ ہوئی ہو۔

اس کی تہجد کی نماز کبھی قضا نہ ہوئی ہو۔

اس نے غیر محرم پر کبھی بھی بری نظر نہ ڈالی ہو۔

اتنا عبادت گزار ہو کہ اس نے عصر کی سنتیں بھی کبھی نہ چھوڑی ہوں۔

جس شخص میں یہ چار خوبیاں ہوں وہ میرا جنازہ پڑھائے۔ جب یہ بات سنائی گئی تو مجمعے پر ایسا سناٹا چھایا کہ جیسے مجمعے کو سانپ سونگھ گیا ہو۔ کافی دیر گزر گئی، کوئی نہ آگے بڑھا۔ آخر کار ایک شخص روتے ہوئے حضرت خواجہ قطب الدین بختیار کاکی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کے جنازے کے قریب آئے۔ جنازہ سے چادر اٹھائی اور کہا۔ حضرت! آپ خود تو فوت ہوگئے مگر میرا راز فاش کردیا۔

اس کے بعد بھرے مجمعے کے سامنے اللہ تعالیٰ کو حاضر و ناظر جان کر قسم اٹھائی کہ میرے اندر یہ چاروں خوبیاں موجود ہیں۔ یہ شخص وقت کا بادشاہ شمس الدین التمش تھے

English Translation:

A group of students came to Qudrat Ullah Shahab and started discussion on politics and change in society, One of them named Qasim, was very practical and had a desire that there should be a radical change in Pakistan and he should take important part in that basic change. He questioned Qudrat Ullah Shahab.

Shahab Uncle, Please tell us, Will you not bring any change?…. any type of it?

Shahab replied, “Every society, every community is changing all the time, some changes are such which you can see, some are folded under surface. Due to resources of transportation and media, world is getting closer. Whatever happens in far east, affects whole West. People of different generations and colors don’t look strange. Cultures are reducing distance.Change comes in both, outside and inside but there is a very fine change which comes with the Will of God. A person who understands that whatever is happening and whatever will happen, will be according to the commands of God, he will not disappoint with these petty changes. Just like before the arrival of some well-known citizen in gathering, chairs are laid, tent ropes are tightened, dais is made. In an empty ground, when many changes have made up to some extent then the President’s vehicle arrives.

Qasim said, “It means, Let not change anything? Let them remain like this?”

Shahab kept drinking milk and said after long pause, “Try to recognize this fine change, grasp its string, then whatever changes inside or outside, never drop that string, As you all know, the change, that we bring, has little good and little bad in it……but The Change, that God brings, is completely pure.It hasn’t good and bad mixed”
